You will discover the reason behind the name for the title later on in the blog... so just stay tuned for now...
Well today I had my history as well as my chemistry exams... which I totally bombed both of them especially the history.
Then after school was church. As always church was AMAZING!! My friend Melissa came with me tonight and I really think that a plant sprouted. You know how people say "you just gotta keep planting that seed" well that stage already happened, and what is the next stage you may ask?? Well that is a very good question with a very good answer. The answer is GROWTH!! I am just so energized right now on how amazing God is. He never seizes to amaze me at all because he is THAT great! Pastor Mark preached about how we should not be ashamed to stand up for our God, and he is absolutely right. The way God used him (Noticed how I did not say he... I said how God used him) to preach his word was awesome. I really truly believe that it helped Melissa out a lot. Not to mention my friend Cole... he was telling me how he has been drifting away from church some like he just didn't look forward to it anymore, and didn't feel like coming, but tonight.... tonight he I saw him lifting his hands praising God.
I also had the opportunity to pray with some other girls that may have been having trouble. There is not a feeling that can describe how I feel when I have the chance to lay my hands on someone, anyone, and just pray for them whatever the reason may be. Tonight really recharged my spiritual batteries, and guess what again.... it is FAR from over. Tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday is my church's revival, and then there is wonderful church Sunday morning. God is doing something remarkable right before our very eyes... isn't that so cool?? I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us because it is going to be fantastic.
Then after church Melissa and Cole went to eat at Zaxby's, but I did not want to feel like the third wheel so I decided just to chill out around the church. Taylor had to do some practice thingy for the revival so I had the pleasure of talking to his parents. I won't type about what all we talked about because number one it is way too much to type, and number two I just want to annoy Taylor a little with him not knowing, but basically we just talked about my family and got to know each other better which is awesome. Mr. Mark and Mrs. Wanda are pretty awesome people if I do say so myself.
I think Melissa and Cole are really hitting it off... I just pray that if they do start a relationship they make sure God is in the center of it. A little tip of advice... NOTHING can or will last long without God's guidance.... anyway.... when Taylor was done practicing I talking to him for a little while before I had to go because it was already pretty dang late.
Here is where the title part comes in (Thank you for staying tuned) on my way driving home I saw like 5 dead possums on the road. So I was like... that is so going to be the name of tonight's blog... so it is! When I got home everyone was already in bed.. cause I didn't get home until like almost 11, and I was SOOOOO hungry. I decided to then cook myself some mac & cheese because that stuff is so good. I feel like such a fat kid because I ate almost the whole box in one setting. I really should go to bed like... now because I have school in the morning, but I am still way too energized... so I think I may watch a little bit of my dorkish anime.... yep that sounds like a good plan.
Well I hope you guys have a great blessed rest of the week.
~God Bless you all
