With the whole separation of church and state people in the past tried to take God out of school, but little did they know that is like impossible. Before we got out of spring break I asked my English teacher if I could write my research paper on the Separation of Church and State, but she was like no because the last kid who wrote a paper like that made her want to claws her eyes out. So I thought about it over spring break and I was like hmmmm... maybe I could right about how Christianity is decreasing in the United States, and how that could effect our school system in the future. However; she did not like that idea either, and seemed to be really annoyed at my persistence to write about religion. I told her that I was just trying to find something I would enjoy researching and writing about so I can get into it. Our research paper is a very big part of our grade, so I want to write about something I can really get into and enjoy, but she was like "how about write about something I would enjoy reading". So I am sad to say that my topic for my research paper is probably going to be very boring because really the only thing that gives me a huge interest is religion and God. So I was pretty down about that, but then got really happy because she started showing this video about a guy telling a Gullah story so we can get into the next section of our literature thing. His story was about THE BIBLE!! He told the story in Exodus about Moses trying to free his people. And the songs we are going over called "spirituals" are talking about God and how they can't wait to get to heaven with him. Also in the past it is in our curiculum to read stories that contained puritans and other people worshiping God and stuff. So for all the people who are protesting about taking religion and God out of school your just wasting your time. God will always find a way... in fact he already found a way. Everything is already done! Our God is an awesome God isn't he?
